Improving Standards in Information Sharing across Children's Services: 01 March 2004

Old Viewforth,
Stirling
Scotland

This event will consider key issues in sharing information across agencies such as social care and health in order to improve outcomes for vulnerable children. In doing so, issues of consent and confidentiality will be addressed.

Colleagues from the Scottish Executive will discuss ways that policy is being translated into practice, progress to date and future directions. We will draw on the practical experience of colleagues in Scotland and in England, including the inter-agency 'identification, referral and tracking' (IRT) programmes that are being piloted in a number of councils.

Presentations

Programme update: Joe Colleran from Greater Merseyside Connexions will be joining John Morrissy and Gail Riley for the session on IRT at 3.15p
