The aim of this event was to address a range of
contemporary policy and practice issues that have
emerged from recent legislation and initiatives
such as 'Changing
Lives' and how agencies are tackling these.
Key themes included:
- information sharing;
- getting evidence into practice,
- involving service users,
- performance assessment,
- partnership working across social care, health
and other agencies
As part of the programme, we also be looked
at how various projects that include the use of
technology are being used to improve practice and
performance, for example to:
- disseminate research findings and other information:
- facilitate benchmarking etc of performance
information
- facilitate user and carer involvement
