This edition features several articles about children’s services, including a report on the recently published Children’s National Service Framework (NSF).
There is also extensive information on the forthcoming user experience survey (UES) on children in need, in particular a summary of the pilot study that was carried out in Birmingham Social Care and Health, led by Paul Dolan.
SSRG Annual Workshop 2005
This is being held in the Palmer Building at the University of Reading on Monday 11th, Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th April 2005. Further details will be announced in the November edition of the SSRG newsletter.
October 1st event
The UES is one of the subjects that is being addressed in the SSRG seminar ‘Improving Services for Children: Developments in Information and Performance Assessment’.
This event is being held on Friday October 1st at the Council House in Birmingham, and the response has been so overwhelming that bookings were closed on Monday 13th September.
