A number of councils in the south of England have expressed concerns over issues relating to the Children in Need User Experience survey, which all councils in England have to carry out in February. An abridged version of a letter prepared by colleagues in Dorset on behalf of these councils appears on page 26, along with notes from the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) that address some of the concerns.
Is your local authority registered on the RGF Database? If you are the lead officer or key contact for RGF, make sure your details are on the database we are compiling, which will be posted to SSRG website. However we will need your permissionto share your information. For more details about these, see pages 22-24.
The programme for the 2005 Annual Workshop is nearing completion, and a draft appears in the centre pages of this newsletter. Fees have been retained at the same level as 2004, so make sure that you have 11th 12th and 13th April in your diaries!
